In today's episode, I am sharing a moment that I was food-shamed for eating meat.
I shared in a story me cooking my meat, and someone decided to come into my message box and share their views and (fake) truth around my food choices and what I should do.
And if you know me, being in the health industry for over 22 years, I know a thing or two about food, especially when it comes to the big question: to eat meat or not to eat meat.
So listen in, and know this: Food shaming is a big problem that leads to many eating struggles. And the biggest truth is that YOU are the only person who can know what is good or good for your body. For me? my body needs meat...and I will always respect it.

Neglecting our sleep!
Listen in because sleep actually increases your hunger hormone and also suppressed your fullness hormone. This in turn increases your cravings for those highs carb and sweet foods, all while making you not feel full and eat more and more and...more.

Here is why seeing binge eating as a response and NOT who you are can truly help you take that step back, see what is truly happening, and take the right actions in the right direction.
Binge eating is often a response to internal and/or external triggers, and this is why seeing that there is a cause not related to motivation or will power, will help you heal your eating habits.

In today's episode I want to share how your environment is a major trigger, despite the physical & emotional work you might be following through regarding your binge eating struggles.
From comments, events and to how we consume social media, all those are places to keep an eye on since they can trigger an emotional reaction leading to....food.
Here is the thing...
We can't just close up from the outer world. We are humans who need human interactions.
