Why Microaggressions Aren’t so Small

Today’s topic is something that doesn’t just happen at work. It happens at school, at the grocery store, even at home! Microaggressions, or as today’s guest calls them, aggressions are a very real and very serious problem.

Dr. Ebbie Parsons III is the co-Founder of Yardstick Management. He’s worked with major companies like Facebook, Netflix, and Amazon to support their work in Diversity, Equity and Inclusion.

Questions:

“I've been on the receiving end of microaggressions at work but I don't know how to address them without escalating the situation. Any advice on how to handle this delicately?”

“I've witnessed microaggressions on my team. How can I be an effective ally in these situations?”
