Do it Afraid: Finding the Bright Side of Change

Change is a constant. There’s no job or situation where we won’t have to deal with it. But guess what, it doesn’t have to be terrifying.

Amanda Clark is the CEO of WellBiz Brands and a Coursera Board Member. She’s previously held leadership positions at other major companies in times of both upheaval and growth. She joins us today to talk about how to approach change and how different people respond to it. Keep an eye out for Amanda in future episodes!

Question: "I have noticed an increase in defensiveness, reluctance to change and an unwillingness to innovate among my colleagues... I am committed to creating a learning environment where my colleagues feel comfortable taking risks, experimenting with new ideas and growing their skills. I would appreciate your guidance on how to best address the concerns of my coworkers.”
