This week I'm chatting to Watford native Simon Francis who has been living in Belfast for the last few years. He spent 8 years touring the world with Ellie Goulding and also held down the low-end in Kyle Minogue's band for a year. He is often cited in lists of the world's greatest-tone alchemists such as Tim Lefebvre, Janik Gwizdala, and Steve Lawson. This was a brilliant chat and I was schooled on this effects stuff and really enjoyed hearing about Simons's bass journey. I don't like to cut these down to be a sleek 60 mins as returning listeners know, so this is split into two parts.
