Scientist Insight - An Interview With Dr Robert Lefkowitz

Dr. Robert Lefkowitz was interviewed by our Chief Editor, Preyasi Gaur.

Dr. Robert J Lefkowitz is an American biochemist and physician. He is known for his groundbreaking work on G protein-coupled receptors, for which he was awarded the 2012 Nobel Prize in Chemistry. He is currently the James B. Duke Professor of Medicine and Professor of Biochemistry and Chemistry at Duke University and an Investigator with the Howard Hughes Medical Centre. He has authored a memoir titled: A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to Stockholm: The Adrenaline-Fueled Adventures of an Accidental Scientist with Dr. Randy Hall, published by Pegasus Books.
