In this episode, we invited Julia Abad, the Executive director of Philippine Business Coalition for Women Empowerment, as she sheds light on the importance of gender advocacy and participation of women in the workplace. She was also honored as a Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum in 2014 and recognized as one of Manila’s 40 under 40 Leaders in International Development by devex.com in 2013.

But before anything, Julia takes pride in being a mother. She finds fulfillment in raising her daughter, helping her reach her potential. This is reflected in her own work as an empowered leader where she makes it her personal mission to provide opportunities and build a more gender inclusive workplace, especially in STEM.
