#10: Why Choose a STEM Career

The pandemic has highlighted the importance of STEM, even more so STEM careers! It is said that the demand for STEM careers will not only increase in the future, but will also help contribute in solving challenges in our world. With this, students are urged to explore different careers in STEM and take on more opportunities.

In this episode, we invited Dr. Denise Matias, a Research scientist in the research unit Biodiversity and People at ISOE, and Paul Tosoc, a Doctor of Philosophy in Biology graduate from the Mindanao State University-Iligan Institute of Technology,  to talk to us about why they pursued a STEM career, how they fought their impostor syndromes, and how we can promote STEM careers to the youth!
