In Part 2 of our birth stories, we’re talking about the actual birth and the often overlooked postpartum experience. From labor and delivery to the emotional and physical realities of the fourth trimester, we open up about what really happened and how different our experiences were. We also discuss the identity shifts, challenges, and healing that come after birth, and what helped (and didn’t help) us feel supported during that time. Our stories are honest, personal, and a reflection of our own lived experiences.
