From participating in NYC 2020 Fashion Show and designing a jacket for rapper Cardi B, Queen is no stranger to success and building her network. Her confidence in her craft as a fashion designer has provided opportunities where she can diversify, grow and help others reach their full potential.
She opened up about her early stages as a designer, understanding the business side of fashion, self-identifying, and knowing your worth. She also discussed the different steps to market your brand, staying goal-oriented, consistent, and engaging with your supporters. As Queen was transparent on the ups and downs of business ownership, she makes it clear that being in the fashion industry doesn’t make things any easier. She believes it is about the work and action you take on everyday and the tools to get you to the next level.
