EP16- Moving to New York City
Moving to New York City has been the best decision of my entire life. I am obsessed with the busy-bee lifestyle, the place I live, the people I’ve met, the places to run, the food to eat, the areas to explore.. I love it all. When I was first moving to the city a few months ago I was frustrated that I could not find a good honest podcast episode that talked about all things moving to NYC.. the highs, the lows, the things to know, the pieces of advice, the random anecdotes.. And everything in between. I promised myself that when I was fully settled into my new life in the city I would make the episode I never could find.. So happy to say that here we are doing the thang!

EP15- Breaking Free of the Injury Cycle
I am so grateful to say that after four years of dealing with an awful injury cycle, I am finally healthy & Free! It’s taken me so much work (mental, physical, and emotional) to get to a place of strong, durable, healthy, sustainable training, and I’ve learned so much along the way. EP14- The Beauty of Going to a Small College
Join Lane & I as we chat about how much we love our small college experience ( @ Hamilton College). I often get questions about what it’s like to go to Hamilton College/ a NESCAC/ small liberal arts college .. so I’m VERY excited to get to share this special episode with you all. Lane + I met in a Classic class (of all places) and have become the closest of friends these past two years. We are both very involved people on campus, we have me (cross country + track, economics + math) and Lane (tour guide, Anthropology, Chabad), with friends from all areas of life. EP11- On Running Slower Than Before
In my four years of college I have never raced faster than my high school PRs. A large reason for this has been my battles with injury: 4 bone injuries and two major surgeries. Racing again after time away (to heal) yields a mixture of emotions - happiness and gratitude to be competing but doubt/frustration that running feels hard/you’re not running the way you used to. This is a fairly universal experience for an injured runner but it’s not talked about enough. I want to share some tips I have mastered on the subject through my injury cycles to hopefully provide some love, encouragement, and healthy reminders.
