With a PhD in philosophy from Western University, Canada, and a passion for education, Dr Harley has never been afraid to tackle controversial ideas. She left the academy, and her lifetime goal of becoming an academic philosopher, because it no longer supported quality education or free thought, forcing her to find alternative ways of engaging worthwhile conversations in politics, education, economics, psychology and much more. As an ardent defender of liberty and the importance of critical thinking, Dr Harley’s focus is around exposing and combatting oppression from the state and extreme political ideologies.
