Harker brings Onion and Salvatore on the hunt for the two edible beasts in the area: slimes and cockatrice. While the slimes were easy enough to manage, the cockatrice turn out to be more formidable foes than they realized. Also there are a lot more of them in the area. With wedge still secretly following along things get dangerous enough that The Eternal Hunter gives chase.
