Satrix Dividend Plus ETF (STXDIV) is a local ETF tracking the FTSE/JSE Dividend + Index. The index consist of 30 highest dividend yielding companies listed on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange(JSE). The companies are selected from the FTSE/JSE Top 40 index and Mid-Cap index and are expected to pay superior dividends in the forthcoming year. The ETF is reviewed semi annually, in March and September. Following the September review, changes were made to the ETF constituents/holdings. Few companies were added, while some were removed. The changes also included the weightings (the top 10 holdings were restructured and re-weighted).
