A few years ago I was standing shirtless and frightened in the middle of a psychedelic ceremony. I was desperate to find the answers to why i was suffering from the world’s most painful headache condition. After 16 years of torture, oxygen tanks in my bedroom and carrying epi-pens on dates, I was ready to get rid of this nightmare pain. I share this experience in my very first episode. I decided to create Squeezing The Plums from the learnings I gathered in that ceremony. I wanted to create a place where men could share their stories, knowledge & opinions to develop the next generation of man

What GRIT means

In this episode, I sit down with former AFL star Steven "Bam Bam" Baker for a raw, no-BS chat about dealing with life's hardest moments. From losing his dad to the passing of his mate Shane Warne, Bam Bam opens up about how he spiralled into partying, sleepless nights, and the struggle to stay afloat. But it's not all heavy – we get real about how he turned things around with some hard-earned grit, good people, and goals that pulled him back from the edge. Whether you're going through it right now or just need a wake-up call, this convo’s full of gold on how to face your demons, set yourself up for success, and bounce back. Trust me – this one’s a must-listen.
