After eight years in data analytics, spanning five companies and an entrepreneurial effort, I find myself back at King—where my career started. Looking at my career moves, I’ve started questioning whether they actually helped me progress or if they set me back.

In this video, I reflect on four key career missteps: leaving King instead of pushing for promotion, taking a career gap after my layoff from Spotify, underestimating the impact of job titles and formal roles, and not being strategic enough in planning my career trajectory.
