Sporting For His Glory
Kare Adenegan
24 episodes
What does it mean to represent Christ in the sports and fitness world? How does a relationship with God shape the lives of Christian athletes, retired athletes, coaches, and sports professionals? Karé Adenegan chats with inspirational Christians who seek to glorify God through excellence in their fields and heart to praise Him by using their gifts and talents. This podcast isn’t just for sports fans, or exclusive to Christians. The purpose of this podcast is to reveal examples of how God can be glorified and encountered in every part of our lives. God made us with seemingly secular passions and gifts, which we can enjoy and thank Him for. “Put your heart and soul into every activity you do, as though you are doing it for the Lord himself and not merely for others.”- Colossians 3:23 “Don’t you realise that in a race everyone runs, but only one person gets the prize? So run to win! All athletes are disciplined in their training. They do it to win a prize that will fade away, but we do it for an eternal prize.” - 1 Corinthians 9:24-25
