Today we talk to Michelle Leigh about what is collectively coming through to be released right now and the 3 most commonly blocked chakras.  How To Know Reiki Is Working When You’re Analytical  This comes down to the mind-body connection. How you speak to yourself and how you think go a long way into “feeling” this work energetically outside of the logical mind. You also can’t deny the outcomes that you experience.   What the 7 Chakras Are and Their Purpose  Chakra is the Sanskrit word for wheel or circle and represents the spinning energy centers in the body (or chakras).  We have 7 of these main energy centers located in the human body. The Root, Sacral, Solar Plexus, Heart, Throat, Third Eye and Crown.  Michelle goes on to explain where these are located and what aspects each one governs.  The 3 Most Commonly Block Chakras  Michelle shares the “Trifecta” of issues she is currently seeing being collectively expressed in her clients. Recently she is seeing the same trinity of chakras being affected as a group. She believes the collective experience of childhood trauma and certain societal pressures have played a part in the systematic blockage of these same chakras in much of the population.  How Often to Get a Reiki or Chakra Balancing Session  Michelle provides her perspective on the frequency of sessions, but emphasizes that consistent personal energetic hygiene is critical. Checking in periodically checking in with your body to see if you are feeling heavy or stagnant in any particular area. Grounding and clearing rituals can help alleviate these symptoms in between energetic sessions.  Symptoms of a Blocked Chakra and How to Unblock It  Michelle gives some very specific methods you can use to determine if you have a block and where the block might be depending on the symptom itself.  For instance, sometimes if you feel more clumsy or off balance than usual there may be an energetic mis-balance in your root chakra system (barring any specific medical intervention needed of course).  What to Expect During a Chakra Balancing Session  The most important part of any energy session is connection. We need to establish the connection about what you are experiencing and what you believe you want to work on. You may also experience some buzzing or tingling sessions as you begin to experience the Reiki energy flowing through your system. There may also be some intuitive messages from your Spirit Guides that come through.  Each experience is unique to the individual and what it is their system requires at that time.  Regardless of what your energy system requires right now, we hope you connect in and ground.
