I was only able to get through my experience because of my increased self-awareness, curiosity, and support from people around me.

What allowed me to surrender to what was happening was my understanding that there was an internal process happening inside of me

I learned about a term called spiritual emergence and instantly that resonated with me! It has helped me to have a language for what I was growing through. Maybe, more importantly, I was able to give meaning to the whole process and I gained clarity which provided an energetic hug (if you know what I mean)

Spiritual emergence can be seen as a mental health process (or psychosis) but my gut feeling is that more people experience spiritual emergence symptoms and are being mistreated.

In today’s episode, I go into the difference between spiritual emergence and a mental health issue. If you are unsure, please check with a trusted psychotherapist or seek out medical professionals and ask them if they are aware of these terms.

I also wanted you to understand the difference between spiritual emergencE and spiritual emergencY. They have different qualities and are important to become aware of, as you navigate these changes in your life.
