Today marks the 30-year anniversary of the Waco Siege or Massacre. The siege lasted 51 days and claimed the lives of 4 ATF agents and 82 Branch Davidians, 28 of whom were children. There has been much debate and controversy surrounding the events of that day. Many movies and shows over these 30 years. This new docuseries gives eyewitness accounts and boasts never before seen footage of the event.
I will be discussing the docuseries, the people in it, the guy who made it, and the events of Waco themselves. I have always held this event with great interest as it literally helped pave the way to the Oklahoma City bombing just 2 years later, on the second anniversary of the fiery end at Waco. Timothy McVeigh was present, in the crowds around Mount Carmel, passing out anti-government propaganda. The Oklahoma City bombing claimed the lives of 168 people, 19 of who were children.
