With the midterms approaching and a record number of election numbers on the ballot, while targeted intimidation of election officials & political violence is on the rise, it’s clearer than ever that the far-right movement in our neighbour to the south threatens the future of the world’s oldest liberal democracy. With Canada experiencing its own rise in right-wing extremism, could that same movement and anti-democratic sentiment find its way north and take over the establishment of the Conservative Party the way it has the Republicans?
