In this week's episode, join us for a transformative conversation all about the power of slowing down in a fast-paced and productivity culture with our guest Carl Honore. Including:

  • An introduction to the Slow movement and Slow philosophy for meaningful living.
  • The historical build to a culture of speed to today.
  • How not “slowing down” is affecting us as a society and our mental health.
  • How living fast-forward leads to burnout
  • The cult of youth.
  • The pressure that society puts on us to have it all together by 30 and the effects that it has on our sense of self.
  • The role of technology and social media
  • Some practical ways we can slow down and live more intentionally in daily life.

Carl Honoré is an award-winning writer, broadcaster and two-time TED speaker.
