Hi, I’m Muffy Walker, an author with a passion for crafting compelling fiction that educates and inspires. Through my stories, I aim to shed light on important topics, sparking meaningful conversations and fostering greater understanding.
My journey to becoming an author has been shaped by a rich background in mental health advocacy. As the founder of the International Bipolar Foundation, I’ve dedicated much of my life to raising awareness and reducing stigma around mental health. I hold a Master of Science in Psychiatric Nursing from the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA, and I’ve written extensively on mental health topics, contributing chapters, guides, and newspaper articles to the field.
Now, I’m channeling that experience into my fiction, weaving together my professional expertise and personal passions to create stories that entertain while offering insights into complex, real-world issues. My goal is to educate readers in a way that feels natural, engaging, and thought-provoking.
When I’m not writing, I love exploring exotic destinations, savoring decadent chocolate desserts, and spending time with my dogs. I’m also an avid pickleball player and enjoy the strategy and fun of Mah Jong.
