We talked about why we feel numbness in prayer.
The absence of Khushuu (focus and humility) in Salah (prayer) can be a common challenge for many of us Muslims. and here is a possible solution on how to deal with it;
- Understand the meaning: Pondering on the meaning of the Surahs and verses we recite during prayer can help increase our focus and connection with Allah. Taking time to reflect on the translation and interpretation of the verses.
- Preparation before prayer: Before starting your Salah, take a few moments to calm your mind, focus on your intention, and remind yourself of the importance of prayer.
- Consistency and regularity: Continue to pray regularly, even if you don't feel the Khushuu initially. With time and practice, your focus and connection with Allah may improve.
- Dua and self-reflection: Make Dua (supplication) to Allah to help you maintain Khushuu in your Salah. Reflect on your prayer and identify areas where you can improve.
- Seek knowledge: Learn more about the Quran, its interpretation, and the significance of Salah. This knowledge can help deepen your understanding and connection with the prayer.
Allah said; "Indeed, prayer prohibits immorality and wrongdoing" (Al-Ankabut, Q29:45)
