Hello everyone! Welcome to the podcast Soviet Sex, where I (and other guests along the way) will examine the Soviet Union’s policies about gender, health, and sexuality throughout its almost 75 years of existence. The first few episodes will be just me providing overviews of important health policies and their real life consequences. In future episodes, I’ll be talking to various experts on what I’ll call ‘special topics.’ These are topics that I can’t include in the overview episodes and maybe not an expert on – but other people are! You can email me at sovietsexpodcast@gmail.com, follow and dm at @SexSoviet and or look at the website sovietsexpodcast.wordpress.com where I will upload episodes, provide citations from my podcast research just in case you want to buy or read any of these amazing books and articles, and upload any digital/online sources for people to explore.
