I am always hopeful when it comes to a new clown slasher film that hits the scene. After watching this movie, I have come to the realization that this movie offers a more traditional slasher style than Scream V or Bodies Bodies Bodies. This movie may be a modern tale of teens trying to escape a killer clown in a cornfield—but this clown-fueled carnage fest has a nostalgic and spunk spirit.
What a great way to end the month of August! Talking to BJ Verot about his role as ‘Frendo’ is invaluable. He went deep into details about the death sequences and stunts, explaining everything down to the wire. This is what I love hearing!
Clown in a Cornfield is a satisfying movie to watch; with the impeccable acting, the death scenes, and the possible opening for a sequel, I cannot stress how much I love this movie. Making its way in my Top 10 Favorites, I do not regret seeing it and I highly recommend this movie if you are looking for something to watch.
It’s time for Art to move over because there is a new clown that’s about to get down.
What is there not to love about this violent, funny, and just plain cool slasher film? You’re just going to have to see for yourselves – now streaming on Sling TV, The Roku Channel, Amazon Prime, AMC+, and many more services.
