In the Netherlands, you might almost forget that media personality Raven van Dorst also sings in an internationally successful rock band. DOOL emerged in 2015 from Raven’s project Elle Bandita and the notorious The Devil’s Blood. After the highly acclaimed debut “Here Now, There Then,” DOOL’s second album “Summerland” reached the top 10 in Germany in 2020. The quintet has extensively toured Europe multiple times. DOOL creates a dark yet melodious blend of progressive rock, metal, and post-rock. Even on the new album “The Shape Of Fluidity,” they don’t watch the clock in the compelling rock songs with consistently smooth guitar work. DOOL is for true rock and metal connoisseurs!
