Bikies in Tears | Adam Shand | Episode 19
In episode 19 of Sounding Board Parenting we explore the world of parenting with legendary Journalist and Father of two (now adult) children, Adam Shand. Adam may well be known best for his groundbreaking work covering Australia’s underworld in recent decades which has included books on infamous figures Carl Williams, Mark “Chopper” Read and outlaw bikers just to name a few. COVID has created a lot of changes in the lives of many and Adam believes this includes people looking seriously at the different roles they play in life and asking themselves, “who am I?” Adam is a hero of his own drama who in this conversation, opens up about what he has seen that brings bikers to tears, having discussions about racism with his mixed race children and lessons he learnt from his Father in his final years.
