Journey Through Muzak: Andy's Top 10 Favorite Records released in 1968

In this series, now named "Journey Through Muzak with Andy,” I will be sharing my top 10 favorite albums released each year! Starting with 1965, and continuing all the way to the present year. Today, we will talk about my top 10 favorite albums released in 1968. Here is a timeline of what was going on in music back in 1968 from Rock Music Timeline: https://www.rockmusictimeline.com/1968 "The rock musical Hair opens on Broadway. 500,000 march on Washington DC to protest the Vietnam war with musical support from Arlo Guthrie, Pete Seeger, John Denver and Peter, Paul and Mary. The Beatles, Donovan, Beach Boys singer Mike Love, actress Mia Farrow and others travel to India to hang with Maharishi Mahesh Yogi. Gibson introduces the Flying V guitar. The final episode of the Monkees TV show airs on NBC in the US. In December. Elvis Presley's comeback special airs on NBC. Hard rock gains ground as it morphs into heavy metal." This series will live on, via my Rate Your Music Page!
