How do we connect more fully with ourselves and others? How do we unite the different parts of ourselves that don’t always seem to be in conversation? How do we shift some of the patterns and beliefs that aren’t working for us, and thereby navigate this amazing, yet complex world a little more easily? Join Ruth Katerelos (psychologist, performer, writer) and Rebecca Harris (author, psychotherapist, education consultant) as they explore themes, ideas and observations concerning the human condition.
Through an open and curious lens, Ruth and Bec offer their perspectives, derived through research, observation and personal experience, on questions posed by clients and colleagues, and get a little deeper into the Synergy of Psychology, Emotion and Spirit. Join them while they explore how by understanding the psyche more fully, and by practicing certain tools and techniques, we can transcend feelings of despair, anxiety, depression and hopelessness to being able to live lives filled with a predominance of hope, satisfaction, confidence, contentment and joy.

Rebecca and Ruth grapple with the complexities of self-narratives in this new episode. They discuss how the stories we tell ourselves, and the ones we absorb and attach to from various external voices in our lives, impact how we relate to ourselves and our world. They chat about what it might mean to have a cohesive self-narrative, and explore the impact of having either fixed or flexible narratives, and how we know when we may need to reframe or let go of the narratives we’re currently holding.
