Nicole Plantin of Soeur Lab had the opportunity to speak with Grammy award winning songwriter, producer, activist, DJ (and the list goes on), about the journey that took her from a childhood in the South Bronx to writing hit records with the likes of Dua Lipa, Leona Lewis, Kylie Minogue, Pitbull and FKA Twigs to then winning a Grammy for album of the year for her work with Jon Batiste on his album and single "Freedom" in 2023.
