WoW's Add-on Philosophy
In a huge podcast shaking up twenty years of design, Ian Hozzikostas announced the team's long term intentions to integrate popular add-on functionality into the game itself-- and in the process, strip those same add-ons of their bread and butter functionality in order to open up design space for the future.
