Dr. Bruce Damer is the founding director and chief scientist of the BIOTA Institute. His work has touched on a vast array of topics, ranging from programming some of the first graphic user interfaces for personal computers, to asteroid mining, to establishing the hot spring hypothesis for the origins of life.
