The idea of the 'why' comes from the book Millionaire Habits by Dean Graziosi. In the book, he talks about the seven level deep exercise which is designed to help you find your true 'why'. He explains how, in a mastermind, he would call people up to the stage and ask them what their number one goal was. Often times, they would say something like making a million dollars. He would then ask them 'why do you want to achieve a million dollars?', and they would answer something like 'I want to pay off my home'. He would then ask 'why do you want to take care of your home?', and the answer might be 'because my mom supported me ever since I was a kid and she's my biggest cheerleader'. He would then ask 'why do you want to be a great son?', and the answer could be 'because that's who I am'.
