Meet the Party:
🌿 Thalara Thorne - A quirky half-elf warlock who hears whispers from unseen forces and speaks in eerie rhyming riddles. Thalara adds both mystery and madness to the party.
💎 Darius Ravenblade - A smooth-talking rogue with a flair for persuasion and deception. Dressed to impress, Darius believes every problem has a price- and he'll happily negotiate.
🪓 Halgar Half-Orc - A red-haired barbarian covered in trinkets and bones from fallen foes. He's loyal, loud, and lives for battle- especially if it ends in glory... or snacks.
🎯 Crystal Cleure - A prankster with a slingshot named Floppy. Crystal finds chaos where there is order and shoots first- usually for fun.
The Journey Begins:
The team guards a stagecoach loaded with strange spice. Their route cuts across the burning desert, near the haunted Monadh Dearg Mountains- land of dry winds, ancient bones, and forgotten towns.
The group spars, harasses their driver Milosh, and attempts (poorly) to find food. Then a giant undead scorpion erupts from the sand, killing Milos and launching them into a desperate nighttime battle.
The Combat:
Crystal fires from a rooftop. Thalara hurls spells. Darius vanishes and strikes. Haligar charges with reckless rage. They survive- barely- and Haligar takes the reins to continue the trek.
Town of Weenoh:
Their destination feels wrong. The town is quiet, littered with garbage and dread. A dragon's skeleton looms in the square- until it births two undead creatures that attack.
In a second wild battle, Thalara casts shatter, Darius leaps rooftops, Haligar rages, and Crystal lands the final blow. The team prevails- but it's a close thing.
The Delivery:
They reach a riverside drop point outside Stonewater. A Dragonborn named Naxor inspects the cargo, pays them, and departs with the coach and spice.
Conclusion:
Dusty and rich, the party heads to the Prickly Pear tavern in Stonewater. Was the spice magical, cursed, or just addictive? No one knows. But the gold spends just fine.
