Welcome to Solid 10 D&D - Episode 2 (Session 31): Stranger in the Sand
The void tome has torn open reality, casting Nemiea, Reed, Karvix, and Sylvie far from the elven swamps of Murkmire into the vast, moonlit Sands of Surya. Disoriented and injured, the party finds themselves face-to-face with a new presence-Dante, a wandering ranger drawn to the desert by fate and a burst of magical energy. With trust in short supply and sand in every crevice, alliances must be forged quickly.
As tensions simmer and introductions are exchanged, a massive undead scorpion bursts from the dunes. The battle is brutal, filled with scorching spells, radiant strikes, and primal rage-quite literally, as Reed transforms into a giant monkey and delivers a critical blow in unforgettable fashion.
After the dust settles, the party gathers what they can from the beast's remains, including necrotic poison and prized bone trophies. A magical scroll brings forth a rustic desert cottage-a temporary reprieve from their harrowing journey. Around the fire, the group shares fragments of their past. Dante reveals his mission to avenge his parents, stolen by death's cruel hand. Visions stir within Nemiea as connections to her own past deepen.
A new companion. A shared enemy. And secrets still buried in the sand.
