This week I am so excited to welcome back three-time guest and friend of the show, Hope Woodard! When I first had Hope on Solace and the City, we talked about her experience navigating her relationship with substance use as I began my own journey being alcohol-free. When we next chatted, Hope was about to embark on a year without dating, relationships, hookups, and any other type of involvement with men and the male gaze. Since then, Hope's boy sobriety has been covered by The New York Times, CNN, The Wall Street Journal, and many other outlets who were fascinated with, what seemed to be, modern day celibacy. But in this episode, Hope breaks down what being Boy Sober truly means: a decision to choose yourself.
