Andrew’s article was comprehensive on the subject covering the concept, the principles, the role of Infrastructure as Code in GitOps, and the benefits of GitOps. I’m an advocate of the declarative system changes approach vs the imperative one, so this is what I’m already sold on. And the rest of the principles sounded like an extension to that idea which makes sense.
