The Phoenix Festival held Warwickshire, UK and put on my Mean Fiddler, it was the first of its name - blending indie rock with punk pop and offering a new experience for music lovers - with some mixed results. We dig in to the trials of a brand new fest, the cool bands that didn’t get the recognition they deserved and how John Peel is frankly the centre of the universe.  Mentally put up your old 2 man tent, put on a bucket hat, crack open a large can of cider and ENJOY.
