Today, I sit down with DeAnna. What a delight to be taken on a journey with her through her first exposure to drinking and through a time of being a mom, then the party mom, and the tragedy that ensued. There were good times, as life with alcohol can offer temporarily, and the undignified end. One thing is for sure: DeAnna did the most courageous thing a person can do. She reached out for help and is now a walking symbol of integrity. She now shares a serene and happy life. Whether it's kayaking on the water with some AA friends, enjoying time with her loving husband, children, and many friends. AA has been a central part of her recovery, and after speaking with her and getting to know her a little better, it has been an absolute pleasure. Thank you, DeAnna. I'm looking forward to staying in touch. Much Love
