So, you're thinking of starting a gin distillery?

For the last few years, as a family, we've undertaken a journey of gin. It started at the beginning of 2018 when our family suffered a great loss and we sought to distract ourselves with something that would fill a void. It turned out to be gin, but not consuming inordinate amounts of it, but instead on understanding on how it was made and the nuances between the rising number of gin brands apparent in the marketplace. Living in Scotland, we were in the heart of this gin renaissance in the UK, and spent most of our weekends travelling across the length and breadth of the country to visit distilleries and talk to the people behind some amazing creations. Gin, for our family, has become a shared passion that helps us find a subject that keeps us engaged, communicating and motivated to find out and experience more. This podcast is a little about that journey, but also some insight into our own process of creating some spectacular gin. There are so many ways to begin distilling in the UK and this is a story of the route we have taken. Listen along and let's see how we get on together.
