In this episode of 'So You Think Your Car Is Fast', we're back from our summer vacation with a fresh dose of exciting topics and updates. We kick things off with a lighthearted discussion about "So You Think Your Car Sucks," where we talk about some not-so-glamorous car moments.
We then dive into our summer adventures, including Taylor's unfortunate experience of his Escalade being stolen and the excitement of his new car. Todd shares insights into his Garagemahal project and a certain pesky neighbor who has started challenging his construction permits.
Dan gets into the status of his car, which (spoilers) did not make it to Shift-Sector Indy. Some of the unique challenges encountered were comfortably crushed connecting rods and self-clearancing turbos.
As we continue, we discuss the intriguing concept that "the fire got larger the longer it burned," and how this relates to certain automotive situations. Todd gives us a glimpse into his preparations for Indy and the modifications he's making, including Y-pipe adjustments to isolate the throttle body.
Taylor's PDK saga and his decision to go for a new wrap for the camo car surprises as everyone loves the camo. We explore the Speed Density Motorsports PDK kits and how they might be able to play a role for us in the future.
