How a journey to shift her own perspective of herself and the life she was leading took her to Uruguay, where she would write a piece hat would become the launch pad to her writing for such publications as WSJ. Magazine, T Magazine, Food & Wine, Departures, Cherry Bombe, Refinery29, Conde Nast Traveler, Vogue.com and others. We also discuss the strength and generosity that comes with female friendships and how at the end of the day, we have to independently weather the moments of hardship and wait to get to the otherside.
