As children our minds are incredibly flexible. We surrender to feelings of weakness and vulnerability. Amazingly, they give us the source of power to acquire new ideas and information. We sense our inferiority to those older than us. We are open to the influence of our parents, grandparents, peers, and teachers. We feel highly motivated to learn. We also feel genuinely curious and hungry for new information. As getting older, we are too ashamed of showing our weakness and vulnerability. We project our image as a strong and self-reliant being. At the same, we are loosing the power to grow. In this episode, let's explore some ideas on how to be weak and vulnerable.
This is a reflection from reading The Laws of Human Nature by Robert Greene.
