Cori and Bryan started this podcast as an activity that they and their children could do together, but alas the children grew up so now their pal Patrick is along for the ride. Come join them, as well as some special guests along the way, for some perfectly cromulent discussion about everything Simpsons. Join them as they discuss a variety of topics, and episode breakdowns where they compare their thoughts of the show growing up and seeing if their outlook has changed, as adults and parents.

Episode 119: Lisa's Substitute or Did You Know I Was a Gifted Child?

On this episode we take a look at an absolute classic that is a bit of a departure as it is a bit more dramatic than others we are used to. Miss Hoover has Lyme Disease which brings a new teacher to Springfield Elementary and one that Lisa becomes quite enamored with. While this is going on Bart takes a run at Class President. We had a blast breaking this one down and we hope that you have just as much fun listening to it!

* Please note that there was a slight audio glitch shortly after the Eye on Springfield segment mic that lasts for about 9 minutes before it gets addressed. Our apologies but don't let that stop you this was a great one!

We also discuss:

- Victims of the Titanic

- Misnaming podcasts

- MMC is for the children

- Things that make you go hmmmm

- A plea to any Joshua Jacksons, Jackson Joshuas or Jeshua Jocksons

- Good Guys, Bad Band (GGBB)

- The art of note passing

- Cori spills the tea

- Teacher/student confusion

- A new appreciation for Lisa

- Learning through The Simpsons

- Sharing Substitute Teaching stories

- Poor choice of day to record

Our Recommendations

Bryan: Fantastic 4: First Steps

Cori: Happy Gilmore 2

Patrick: Happy Anniversary to his wonderful wife, Seth Meyer's Corrections and Superman 2025
