In this episode of So Dramatic, my guest is artist and educator Sandy Washington. Sandy and I talk about the abstract expressionist painter Mark Rothko, most famous for his deep color rectangles. Sandy and I discuss why sometimes artists are most creative when they have a deadline, sometimes it’s o.k. to let your kids touch the art, and never hang her paintings in the bathroom.
