In New Orleans, the Sewage and Water Board has left roads in extreme disrepair. Potholes are seemingly permanent fixtures, practically community members. The people of New Orleans have taken to decorating potholes, giving them names, creating social media trends and profiles, and making them more than facts of life.

But what happens when a particularly notorious pothole... gets filled?

This satire story "Deborah" tells the tale of the St. Ann/Burgundy (pronounced ber-GUN-dee), and her untimely demise.

Special Thanks to the People of the Fruit Loop and Greater Foolish Area of New Orleans
