There has been an increase in Central Line Associated Blood Stream Infections (CLABSI) throughout the country and in pediatrics specifically. CLABSI are serious infections that can completely change the course of of a patients stay impacting their outcomes. Boston Children's Hospital is working diligently to give staff the tools to help reduce our CLABSI rates.
