SM DPR (Slammin’ Music Done Precisely Right!) Productions is a remixing team from New York City comprised of Steven McCants and Donald P. Rhodie remixing tracks since 2005. SM DPR Productions originally was an Audio/ Visual team remixing Audio/ Visual Effects in the Greater New York Area. With influences such as Victor Calderone, Hex Hector, David DePino, Larry Lavan, Frankie Knuckles, Maurice Joshua, Freemasons, Thunderpuss, DJ Relentless and countless others we (SM DPR Productions) heard our calling and we pride ourselves strictly with HOUSE MUSIC and is a “keeper of the flame” in keeping “HOUSE MUSIC” alive and well. SM DPR Productions has remixed songs such as: First Choice – The Player/ Armed & Extremely Dangerous (SM DPR Gunned Down Remix), Mary Mary – Shackles (SM DPR Spiritual Freedom Remix) taken from Victor Calderone’s original Underground Mix, Kathy Sledge (Sister Sledge) featuring Adam Barta – Give Yourself Up (SM DPR Club ReEdited Remix)…”I Love It!”…..Kathy Sledge, Erykah Badu – Window Seat (SM DPR Productions One Way Ticket ReEdited Remix), Floetry – SupaStar (SM DPR ReEdited Remix), and the Carl Bean classic – I Was Born This Way (SM DPR 2K11 ReEdited Remix) with Carl Bean’s blessings ….“Bless you for allowing your creative talents to breathe new life into my labor of love!!!!!!!!! Yours Creatively, Archbishop Carl Bean” In the Fall of 2011 SM DPR Productions parted from the Sobel Nation Radio family and is currently working on new projects, including a House Medley of Aretha Franklin classics, SM DPR Productions continues to breathe life into the New, the Old, and the Best of House Music……………….
