In April 2024 I had a chat with Virginia, an American SLP working in Mexico City, Mexico.
You may know Mexico City as the second most populated city in the Americas (behind Sao Paolo Brazil) with over 9 million people living in the city itself and nearly 20 million people living in the greater CDMX area. But did you also know that Mexico City is home to the largest urban park in Latin America? Parque Chapultepec is two times bigger than New York’s Central Park and contains museums, cafes, green spaces and a castle!
Grab your passport, pack your bags and get ready to come on an audio adventure to discover what life is like as an American SLP in Mexico 🇲🇽.
Just a quick note about the audio quality in this episode. Virginia and I recorded this interview in person in a cafe in Mexico City, so occasionally you’ll hear some city sounds in the background.
