For this weeks episode Barbara had the pleasure to sit down with Wunmi Bakare - owner of The Sickle Cell Prodigy, multicultural citizen and advocacy trailblazer in the sickle cell and rare disease communities.
Discussing living with SCD whilst building her successful career in PR to Advocating and leveraging her voice, platform, influence & knowledge on a global level to help less advantaged people living with sickle cell to have the same access to treatments. She also highlights the positive traits of living with sickle cell and how It has made her adaptable throughout her career and how we are not just warriors but we are Prodigies.
